A great tactical training app

More puzzle for a day please and better icon (logo)

I bought this for my son who is interested in learning chess. I did not find any instructions on how to use or solve the different puzzles. Maybe it is obvious for an experienced player but not for a newcomer. It is not stated in how many moves a puzzle can be solved and I do not understand whether in every case white or black is the expected winner. Is it always the one that is starting with the moves? Would be nice if someone could help me on this,

This is a great app. It has advertisements. One has to purchase further, related puzzle-packs, to get rid of ads.

Greatly recommend this app for any learning or advanced chess enthusiast!

I love it. Ive bought the 400 Easy Tactics add-in and when done with that plan to buy the Intermediate add-ins. Just a couple of things: Any puzzle involving pawn promotion freezes the game in my iPod 5 (I have up to date iOS) and Im forced to go to the next puzzle having (in the test Progress puzzles) been penalized points. The second thing: in Progress puzzles I can never isolate just one pack, I always get all the packs including the dreaded Hard puzzles even if it is unchecked.

A good learning tool. Very addictive, too. Nice going developers!

One bug: pawn promotion freezes the tactic forcing you to give up to continue

According to chess analysis engines, some puzzles have more than one "solution". So in many cases, your little app says wrong when its right. One of them was basically asking me to solve 5 moves in row that were not forced on either side. If you want people to find the only solution, make sure theres just one answer

Two bugs needs to fix to have 5 stars: loss of the priority on transformation; arrows not cleared on the screen on next game after calling adviser.

Rate ur app by four stars cause its really needs to explain, what do u want from user in each exercise: mate or win the positioning war. And its have some sadly bug: when it needs to change a pawn to some figure, its not counted as win, even its checkmate. And its dont tell to me, right choice Ive had or its wrong. Pls fix it, I really love ur app!

The best app for chess tactics

Solid app. I found one oddity in one of the puzzles but I cant prove it now, but either way, its a fun app and great for little brain breaks throughout the day. Even if you disagree with a puzzle, come on! Its free! And most of the puzzles are worth the extra effort. Very rewarding.
